The present privacy notice explains how SMBGASSO collects your personal data when:

• using SMBGASSO’s website (the “Website”) or any functionalities or request forms on the Website;

• sending you communications and/or invitations.

 

It does however not apply to the processing of your personal data by SMBGASSO when you are a person with whom SMBGASSO has established, or is in the process of setting up, a contractually binding relationship.

• Your job title and company name where appropriate;

Please note that when using the Website, SMBGASSO automatically collects, through cookies navigation and click-stream data and the following information: HTTP protocol elements and search terms.

SMBGASSO may collect and process your personal data for the following purposes :

• To send you newsletters, annual reports and invitations to events that we think may be of interest to you;

• When you send us a request through the Website, in order to handle your request and provide you with an appropriate answer;

• When you use the Website, in order to improve the quality and efficiency of our Website and access to webpages faster and easier.

SMBGASSO takes reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational security measures in order to (i) store your personal data in secure databases or systems with restricted access and (ii) protect them against loss, accidental or intentional misuse, alteration, destruction and access by unauthorized persons.

 

Please note that some of the databases or systems used by SMBGASSO may be hosted and/ or maintained by third party service providers located inside or outside of the European Union.

 

Your personal data will only be disclosed to such service suppliers if they offer appropriate guarantees with regard to confidentiality, security and protection of your personal data.

SMBGASSO will only retain your personal data:

You have the right to access, rectify and/ or request the deletion of your personal data at any time as well as to restrict or oppose the use of your personal data for the purposes mentioned above.

You may also withdraw your consent to receive communications or invitations at any time by sending an email to contact@smbgasso.org or by clicking the unsubscribe link in the footer of any invitation or communication sent by SMBGASSO. In that case, SMBGASSO will immediately cease to send you communications and invitations.

 

Please be aware that these rights are not always absolute and there may be some situations in which SMBGASSO may not be able to comply with your request.

 

9. Amendments to this privacy notice

 

SMBGASSO reserves the right to amend this privacy notice from time to time to reflect changes in the law, our data collection and used practices, and to ensure it is accurate, complete and up-to-date. You are advised to check this privacy notice from time to time.
